Our customer is a major international chemicals company listed on the NYSE with leading market positions in a broad range of commodity, industrial, performance and specialty chemicals. This major chemicals company is the second largest manufacturer of Titanium Dioxide (Ti02) in the world.
Norfolkline arranges transportation services for the major chemicals company and manages the entire logistics process. We contract for the carriage of the goods, manage all transport documentation and carry out all customs formalities. Norfolkline also administrates and supervises contracts on transportation, in order to optimise the process and reduce costs.

Norfolkline has 14 dedicated staff working solely for this customer. The management center is in Dunkerque and 2 Norfolkline staff members are on-site in each of the customer’s production plants.

The customer’s on-time delivery performance has improved to well above the initial target and significant cost savings have been achieved every year since the start of the agreement in 2001. Complaint investigation times and the number of complaints have been reduced as has the number of late collections. Norfolkline has an excellent safety record and can cope with fluctuations in volumes, stocks and emergency loads.
